Fibre

We process our wool is ourselves. From shearing to scouring and carding the wool everything is done by hand and at the Farmstead. Wool is a renewable and sustainable fibre that can be used for a variety of projects.

Food

Establishing produce that is resilient to climate change and the increasingly volatile environment is a corner stone of Misfits Farmstead. Our goal is to support the day to day operations of the farm through the sale of sustainably grown and nutritionally dense produce, as well as use parts of our land to help community members grow their own food.

Regenerative Agriculture and Food Forestry

Indigenous communities have been practicing regenerative agriculture and establishing food forests for centuries. As part of our commitment to sustainable agriculture, we are working on establishing a robust food production system using the basic principles established by local Algonquin and Iroquois Indigenous communities.
